Frequently asked questions
How is VOQAS different from other language apps?
VOQAS focuses entirely on speaking practice with real-time AI voice conversations. Unlike apps that rely on typing or pre-recorded dialogues, you have natural back-and-forth discussions and get personalized feedback after every session.
Do I need to be at a certain English level?
No. VOQAS supports all six CEFR levels from A1 (beginner) to C2 (mastery). The AI coach adapts its vocabulary, speed, and complexity to match your level automatically.
What happens to my voice recordings?
Your voice is streamed in real time to ElevenLabs for processing and is deleted immediately after your session ends. We do not store, share, or use your voice data for any other purpose.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes. All subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. You can cancel anytime in your iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Is VOQAS suitable for exam preparation?
Absolutely. We have dedicated scenarios for IELTS and TOEFL speaking sections, plus roleplay scenarios that mirror real exam situations. The per-session feedback helps you identify exactly what to improve.
Does VOQAS work offline?
An internet connection is required for voice conversations since the AI runs on cloud servers. However, you can review your past feedback and session history offline.
